Join us at our second roundtable with our DNV GL food safety experts to discuss the latest review of ISO DIS 22000 in the high-level structure, which was issued for consultation on the 5th May.
Following on from the opportunity for review of the draft consultation document we held in 2016, you can provide your feedback and, together with DNV GL, your comments will be included in our response to the ISO working groups/committees.
Preventing food safety failures using a robust food safety management system is crucial for the success of our industry. Since the introduction of ISO 22000:2005 the expectation of the consumer in terms of food safety has changed, with food fraud, product recalls and food adulteration.
The ISO 22000 standard is currently under revision, with important changes coming to the structure of the standard. The ISO Committee has updated the standard to clarify, simplify and to align with the format of the other management systems standards (such as ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015).
